We can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana online using the PMAY portal in a few simple steps:

Step 1: Browse the PMAY website. You can do so by visiting this link: pmaymis.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Citizen Assessment tab. A drop-down menu will appear on the screen. On this menu, click on either of the first two options, i.e., ‘For Slum Dwellers’ or ‘Benefit under the other three components’.

Step 3: You will be asked to enter our Aadhar details next. Enter the Aadhar number without any spaces and click on the check button.

Step 4: Next, you will be directed to a new page, which is the actual PMAY application form page. Here, you have to fill in all the details very carefully. Some points you need to fill in include city name, state name, contact details, bank details, income details, etc.

Step 5: Once all the details have been filled, click on the acknowledgment box. Fill in the captcha code on the screen and then click on the Save option.

Step 4: Next, enter the assessment ID and mobile number. The assessment ID would be allotted to us during the application submission.

Step 5: Next, click the Submit button after filling in the required details. After which, we would be able to see the current status of our application.
